HYPNOSIS -- An altered state of consciousness where the subconscious level of the mind is in a state of hyper-suggestibility.

The Hypnotherapist is trained to give suggestions that the subconscious mind will accept, and then act on those suggestions in a positive way.  Trained Hypnotherapist have helped thousands of people solve problems in their lives, overcome fears, and improve personal skills and characteristics.

Hypnosis is a gentle approach to resolving your personal challenges and is the most powerful, direct, and immediate path to positive change!

Hypnosis and its therapeutic value and uses were approved by the British Medical Association in 1955 and by the American Medical Association in 1958.

There are many people who have heard of the wonderful results accomplished through hypnosis and feel that it could also be helpful to them.

Most people have heard or read how the average person only uses three to five percent of their mental abilities. With the use of hypnosis, a person can rapidly begin to use more of their own mind and accomplish many goals.

It has been noted after most hypnotic sessions, subjects report that they sleep better at night and are more relaxed during their daily life.

Many people are afraid of hypnosis because of misinformation acquired over the years from horror movies, novels, or television. The average person has a misconception of what hypnosis is and what can be accomplished through hypnosis.

If a suggestion that is not appealing is given to a person while in a hypnotic state, one of two things will occur: The person will either ignore the suggestion or bring themselves out of the hypnotic state.

When a person is hypnotized, they are not asleep or in some eerie trance state.  The hypnotized individual is aware of everything that is taking place.  Even after being brought out of hypnosis, a person will be able to recall anything that took place during the session.

Hypnosis is a very normal, natural state that most of us experience every day.  Several examples of daily hypnosis are: Driving a car and realizing that you can't remember the last three or four streets/exits you just passed or when a member of the family enters the room where someone is watching television and announces that dinner is ready while the person watching the television did not even blink an eye!

The above examples represent a light hypnotic state.  In both cases,  the conscious mind had been distracted which allowed the subconscious part of the mind to take over.

A
simple definition of hypnosis is:  A state of mental relaxation, not sleep or unconsciousness.  In this state, the analytical part of your mind is temporarily set aside.  The "I can't" part of your mind is bypassed, and suggestions are readily accepted and immediately become part of your everyday lifestyle.
